I thank its just me but when am on the track racing in a group.i drift in the grass is that drifting

Sure is, it is called agricultural drifting.
Dunno if you know how to tune for drifting but, I let you know what I know about it. Take the sticky tires off the car. I leave the tire width wide, I like it that way it feels more stable.
Set your rear sway bar & springs to almost all the way stiff. Lower the car all around to almost as low as it can go. (don't go all of the way down because you want it to move some.
Get the best brakes move the bias all the way to the rear, & max out the brake pressure too. Doing this will act like using the e-brake.
When going into your corner try mashing the brakes then let off when the car is pointed the way you need it & mash the gas and steer the opposite way the turn is going.
